True, but only if you do not count the passenger's side airbag cover popping out on the Edmunds' test Versa.

My 2007 6-speed is going along just fine with no major issues to date. Finally got rid of the OEM tires around the 30,000 mile mark. Mileage has been good, although the introduction of ethanol has given me about a 10% hit in mileage, but that another story for the The Inconvenient Truth About Ethanol discussion.
