Replying to: waitingforyou (Nov 23, 2008 9:00 pm) Deals? TireRack is having a close-out on ASA JH6 17" silver wheels. Around $100 a wheel. Subaruparts.com has a coupon for 15% over cost when you spend $50. Code is weT7VRVM. Good through the end of November. Amazon has rebates on Fram Air Hog panel filters. Buy a cheap one like this and "make money."

Just got a coupon from my Chrysler dealer where if I purchased a used car in 2002. It says that if I pay $30 for an initial oil change they will give me 3 free ones. I read all the fine print and as near as I can tell the only catch is that I must have the 3 free oil changes within a year (not a problem since I am a 3000 mile changer). The offer sounds a little too good to be true. Any opinions?

There are more reports of long time dealers folding showing up around the boards. But since most dealer oil changes are $30 or more anyway, if you just get two for one, you're still ahead. Replying to: ateixeira (Dec 02, 2008 10:51 am) LOL. This is a 12 year old Chrysler that's closer to 120K. I'm sure they'll find plenty they'd like to fix. As long as they don't "require" me to fix things to get my free oil it'll be OK. Thanks |
