I am interested in a 2007 Mustang GT Premium. I have looked at a few, actually found a Ford dealer that is closing that will sell me a vista blue with GT package, 18" and a few other options at dealer invoice. In researching window stickers at a few dealers in the area I came across a 2007 with GT Upfitters pachage ($2,140). I have been unable to find any details on this. Replying to: cappy53 (Feb 20, 2007 6:05 am) It appears to be the package that is required for the Shelby GT500 before it gets shipped to Shelby. I think it's a Limited Slip diff and wheels but I couldn't see for sure. Sounds like it can be ordered for regular GTs as well. The GT500 rolls off the assembly (fully assembled and ready to ship to dealers) along with the regular Mustangs. You might be confusing it with the Shelby GT-H and Shelby GT. It was definitely for the cars that are drop shipped to Shelby because in addition to the 54U GT Upfitters package they also had to select another option for drop shipment to Shelby. It was another message board so maybe they said GT500 but meant GT or GT-H.

The Shelby GT is finished in Los Vegas at the Shelby plant.   Mark.
