Article comments for First Drive: 2008 BRP Can-Am Spyder Grand Sport Roadster - The Can-Am Spyder is a strange-looking vehicle, and when we had a test ride on the West Coast of Florida just south of the Kennedy Space Center, there were questions. Always questions. (more)

I hope you call your dealer and tell them your size. They asked me mine when they placed the order over the internet.I do think they order the jacket at the same time.. Do you have your Pre-Order Certificate/Worksheet? This is a link to some jacket pictures http://www.can-amtalk.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=806 Good Luck By the way the hole is for head phones for a pocket Ipod. NEXUS1

Replying to: nexus1 (Jun 26, 2007 6:26 pm) After I gave my deposit, I got an invoice from the local dealer. There is no information on this other than the amount, and the fact that it was for a Spyder 990.

| When you fill out the pre order worksheet they ask what color Spyder you want and what size jacket you wear. | |

I plopped down my $1000.00 sight un-seen on this incredible new product back in April. After nearly 40 years riding Bombardier products I wouldn't hesitate a moment in recommending them. I got my first ride last Saturday at my dealer in upstate NY. The two demo units they had have 5000 plus miles on them and He told us that they haven't had to do anything to them except fill it with gas. Needless to say the ride was fantastic. All the power you can use and quite possible more braking than you'll ever need. It was very responsive in corners and felt fairly light for it's 700 plus pounds. I know the motorcycle guys are going to diss this new abomination of the road, but it's not targeted at them so who cares. I've been looking for something to extend my snowmobile season for years, and holy you know what, here it is. My jacket has already come in and Ive received it from my dealer. It looks great and will cost around $200.00 according to my dealer to purchase. |

Got my jacket although I am not due to get my Spyder until March, 2008! Great jacket and of fine quality. However I ordered an extra large thinking it might be skimpy, and it's a bit large for me. anyone out there wanting to swap a large for an extra large? No big deal. I'll just eat a few more pizzas!
