Consumer Reports says the 350Z weighs over 3600 pounds. Edmunds says 3339. 300 pound difference. What gives, who's right?

I ordered a Silver Alloy. I look forward to a full road test in some of the car mags.

AC indicator lights by mjp1

I'm loving my 2007 Z coupe (even more than the 2004 I traded for it). There's just one weird thing: the tiny indicator lights on the AC interior/exterior air intake and fan controls don't come on unless it's really hot out. Hot like 94 degrees or higher. (Welcome to Alabama in June.) Sounds like a connection to me, but it's really not bothersome enough to go back to the dealer with. 6500 miles. Any thoughts?

Have them take a look at it when you go in for the 7,000 mile service.

My guess is that the 330 hp powerplant that's in the new Infiniti G37 couple will NOT be made available in the Nissan simply to retain the "premier" status of the Infiniti line. The 3.5L powerplant in the Nissans isn't up to Infiniti's 3.5L horsepower standards so I'm inclined to think this will carry over to the Z-car as well. Bart

The new Z does offer a 306 hp engine ... I think that's where they'll stop. It's plenty quick ... it's lighter than the Infiniti G. Bart

What is the demographic for the Nismo Z? I am a company that is looking to do marketing for the Nismo Z and we are trying to figure out who is going to actually buy this car. Is there anyone who has ordered or bought this vehicle? Some help would be much appreciated.
