I took our 07 NAH in for its 30K service yesterday and asked again to fix the volume. When I picked the car up the note on the service report was "is not adjustable." I insisted that it was and told them about the fixes posted here. The service advisor sent a mechanic to try to find the procedure and guess what: he found it, but didn't know it. After I played with it a little, I found the adjustment myself.

The adjustment on the 07 NAH with NAV is a Low, Medium, High. It was set on Medium so I set it to high. My preliminary finding is that it is better, but the real test will come when my wife, the primary driver, uses it on the freeway.

I have attached the instruction page. 07NAH-BluetoothVolumeAdjustment

OPERATION PROCEDURE
1. Turn the ignition ON.
2. Turn the audio system off.
3. While pressing the "SETUP" button, turn the volume control dial clockwise or counterclockwise for 30 clicks or more.( When the

self-diagnos mode is started, a short beep will be heard.)

Once you have the opening screen:
1. Press CONFIRMATION/ADJUSTMENT
2. Press Down Arrow
3. Handsfee Phone
4. Press Handsfree volume Adjustment
5. Press Low, Medium or High
6. Press Back and turn off the ON/OFF switch.

The dealers have also been advised that if there is a lot of noise on the callees end to turn down the volume (on the radio) on the phone call which will improve noise canceling.

You can then try it. I hope it works for you.

Hello, I am about to sign for a 2009 NAH. Before I do I need to clear up one consern. I have read 2 posts on Edmonds and several on another site complaining about engine revving associated with EV/Gas switching or when battery is low. How prevelant is this problem and does Nissan have this bug figured out?

Thank you,
CharleyHorse

I think it's happened to a few cars. I personally never had that problem after 36,000 miles

#453 of 457 2009 NAH Catastropihc Brake Failure by nissanman2010

Jan 11, 2010 (8:13 am)

Guys:
Saturday 01/09/2010; while going at 35 MPH, I had a catastrophic brake failure on my NAH. The brakes were non responsive, could have been a major potential for a FATAL accident if I was doing 65 MPH on highway. Enough to say I am totally pissed about this and Want ANSWERS from Nissan!.

The car is with the dealer now and I will update this thread as more information flows in.

My tow cost $197 to tow me 5 (Yes FIVE) miles to the dealership because the towing company they sent charge commercial rates and because the road side assistance program covers only $100, I am Out 97 dollars! I have another major issue with this and I have asked for the regional specialist of Nissan to contact me, they said it will be within 2 business days and I hope that's true or else I have another thing coming!

Tip: Do not buy the roadside assistance and get a AAA Plus membership instead

I had the same problem. We went to Cirque du Soleil and parked. We certainly attempted to shut the engine off and thought we had done so. However, when we came back to the car (it had gotten dark in the mean time), the lights were on and the engine was actually running.

At very least, I would expect the car to shut down when there are no key fobs in range.

There's a problem if the driver can even get in this situation.

I had the same issue once with returning to my parked car and finding it already running! In my case at least, I suspect operator error.

What I think happened:

When parked and in EV mode, before you hit the power-off button the car is completely silent. It could happen that you exit the car without hitting the power-off button (and don't notice the "Hey eejit, you left the car on" alarm.) While you're away, the car has been sitting there running its electrical systems and needs to recharge itself...so the IC engine kicks on.

As far as i know there is no way to hook up a remote starter on this car.
I also dont think starting your car and locking it is that bad , i have been doing it with cars for 25 years, its cold in upstate ny

#457 of 457 Noise when pressing brake pedal by tonysalsa

Oct 20, 2011 (8:50 pm)

Have 2010 NAH, vehicle has all service done at nissan dealer in Texas. Last oil change at 35000 dealer flag amber in front brakes and quote in service record: "safe but need to replace soon". After summer vacations with 36450 on odometer car was park in garage for 1 month (move it back and for few feet once a week). Yesterday took it out to get it wax and start making a noise when I press little harder brake pedal and go into gear (reverse or drive), sounds like a bad a/c compressor kicking in, like a "clack" noise under hood. If I don't press brake pedal to hard won't make noise. I don't know if is "normal" or if it's related to thin brake pad (wird but may) or if the braking system has a failure, very concern because vehicle is out of warranty. Somebody having this issue?
