I have a 2001 Savana and the check engine light came on, I took it to the dealer and they said that I need a new fuel tank evaporator canister and a purge solenoid and it would cost $830.00. I got the parts (OEM) on line for $160.00 and replaced them but the check engine light remains on. HELP Replies to this message: Shimonomochi (Nov 23, 2008 11:55 pm)

I'm considering purchasing a 9 passenger low top GMC Savana Regency conversion van, but am apprehensive about towing our trailer with it. We tow about 6000# with our Suburban and it's no problem. The Savana that we're looking at indicates that it has towing capabilities of 10,000#. Just wondering what others experience is with towing a trailer with a van vs. an SUV.

Replying to: mmike1500 (Feb 12, 2007 3:22 pm) forget about it, evaporator problems are usual and don't effect on driving. I've got the same trouble more than year, nothing happens
