I don't think its much a "Toyota" scandal. It is the team and the mechanics that F'd up. I'm sure Toyota doesn't endorse cheating.

To me, its like the baseball and steroids ordeal.......not a big deal that will get blown way out of proportion.

Also, a bunch of interviews have been going on and a lot of drivers have admitted to cheating and say they do it all the time and that a lot of people cheat.

Somebody once said there is no BAD publicity.
Waltrip and Toyota are all the media is talking about. With even CBS's Katie Couric doing NASCAR segments on the CBS evening news, I say its beyond the "saturation" point.

I find Nascar funny in general, as none of the cars have any parts (except for the stickers) related to any "stock" car. Imagine if GM, Chevy, Dodge and Toyota had to run "stock" cars? Who would win then?

Mike - I agree and for the life of me don't understand why the mfgrs. even support this - there just can't be a whole lot of folks out there that don't understand there is no relation to anything you can buy - but maybe PT Barnum was right. Who would win? Whoever had the most money and could successfully bend whatever rules got in the way!
