I've always removed the rear seat bottom of any other vehicle that I've owned when taking the dog to the vets. And you're correct - it's the claw thing and also the fact that I lease my vehicles - it keeps them cleaner. Most rear seat bottoms can be removed and reinstalled in a matter of a few seconds by releasing whatever holding mechanism is holding the seat down. I haven't been able to figure it out and according to the dealer's manuals - it isn't mentioned at all. I was hoping someone here might know the secret. Thanks (Larry)

There should be two bolts holding the seat cushion at the fold point as pictured.

Thanks - I'll take a look at it this weekend. (Larry)
