I realize that this is an old thread but I'll respond anyway. Are you sure you mean Honda of Naperville in Rockford, Illinois? There's a Honda of Naperville in Naperville but I don't know of one in Rockford. The reason I ask is that I have dealt with the Naperville dealership and they have exceeded my expectations. In general, automakers will take care of defect that involve safety and your problem certainly does involve safety. (I'm glad I read it because I will be watchful for the same problem with my '04 Pilot and, in fact, the seat can get uncomfortably hot.) After I bought my car, I accidentally punched a small hole in my leather driver's seat when I left a screwdriver in my back pocket. I went to the dealer I bought the car from (Honda of Naperville in Naperville) to get a price on a new seat. To my amazement and delight, Honda offered to replace the seat no-charge! Not only that, but they told me to come in the next day and the new seat was installed within an hour! That is the type of service that assures that I will buy my next car from them. I hope you resolved your problem to your satisfaction. |
