Replying to: toyobing (Jul 19, 2009 7:41 am) The one I am looking at is a 2009 so will the deler be getting the aged inventory rebate? I am going to take the 0% if I buy it so I think I am SOL on the $2250 customer cash. Thank you!

Does anyone know what this means? I received a quote in NJ from a dealer and he stated that I would need to pay this. 350.00 Estimated Motor Vehicle expense(State imposed) Also, does anyone know if the rebates are before or after taxes? Thanks.

I am looking at a 2007 SLT-2 FWD Acadia. The vehicle has every option. The mileage is high at 55K but all service has been done as prescribed by the local dealer. It is a single owner that used it for highway travel. The price is right at 22K. Should I have any concerns about realiability etc? Thanks

Replying to: vinnyny (Oct 18, 2009 7:03 am) True - We're talking about $13k more. But for that $13k you get a newer car, 55k miles back and a warranty that you'll probably need. Even at 15k mi / yr, that's 3 1/2 years of ownership you're giving away. Also, one 55k SLT-2 Acadia that I looked at in MA was already in their shop with a power steering pump replacement. During negotiation, they told me they'd invested $2,200 in repairs in this vehicle (as if this would make me want to pay more). 2009 new Acadia's come with $2,500 in rebates + $500 discretionary dealer rebate and another $500 for your waiver of the "try it for 60 days" program. BTW - If you do look for a new 2009, don't just look locally. I found a new one in another state and paid $300 to have it shipped to my driveway. |
