I was incorrect, $10K off MSRP is possible with the GM Employee Price combined with the generous GM incentive system!

Acadia seating by dell46

Recently I test drove a 2009 Acadia SLT-2. It was great to drive, smooth, quiet, great acceleration and all of the accesories that you could ever want. Then I tried the second row seating, It had the captains chairs(seven passenger) and a small rear fold down seat. I am about about 5'11" and my knees and feet were so cramped in this second row that I was immediately turned off by this vehicle. For a large suv the seating in the rear is awful. My advice to any one who is interested in the Acadia or the Enclave is to try the rear seating before you purchase it. For a family car with children I am sure it would be no problem, but if you intend to haul adults check this feature out before you buy.

The second row seating is adjustable. I'm 6'1" with long legs and can adjust that for plenty of room. I think I can adjust the second row about halfway back and get it where I would be confortable in either the second or third row...though the third row is a little lsmaller for foot room.

I have an 08 Saturn Outlook with second row captains chairs. On a golf trip last year, Harvey rode in the second row for 500 miles one way..all 6' 4" 230 lbs and was comfortable.

I think the adjustment release is on the side of the seat. Shame on the sales person giving you the demo for not showing you this.

Did u push the captains chairs back? I just bought a slt1 and I have the front seat all the way back and the second row captains back and I fit and I'm not cramped. O I'm 6'4 so not sure what your talking bout. The 3rd row is cramped unless someone sits in the middle btween the captain chairs

I just purchased an acadia from jack giambovlo GMC in york pa. When I arrived home (2 hrs away) I noticed the state inspection and emissions stickers were due in nov (in 6 months!!). When I let the sales manager know, she basically told me, sorry theres nothing they could do, that they inspect the cars when they come in. Thats bullsh&%! i just spent 45k at their dealer and they wont give me a full year on the state emission and inspection. what terrible customer service, I hope thy're one of the 2600 dealers who get shut down...
