Replying to: seloo (Mar 24, 2009 2:12 am) Discount- ($4,878.35) Sales Price $32,294.65 Taxes- $967.85 New Tag $75.00 NC Inspection $13.60 Admin Fee $398.00 Total Sales Price $33,750.00 Rebate ($4,250.00) Final Price $29,500.00 The car was manufactured in September 2008 and therefore had a lower MSRP then it would have now since GMC raised prices in November. I think the comparative MSRP if you priced the car with these features would be somewhat over $38,000.

Acadia SLT-2 AWD HID Headlamps Tech Pkg 19" Wheels Trailer Pkg Cargo Pkg MSRP $43,845 Consumer Reports Dealer Price Est. $38,400 Paid $38,600 ($40,600 less $2,000 lease incentive) I figure the dealer probably cleared ~$2,000 on the deal, which seems fair since he has to deliver to me out of state. If you can find an Acadia with a qualified VIN (mine was not eligible), there is a "March Clean Sweep Overage" cash-to-dealer incentive of $1,500. Ask the dealer if he has any VINs that qualify. Otherwise, go to gmprograminfo, call the 800 number and ask if your VIN qualifies. There are also $2,250 of incentives OR 0% financing. I took the 0%. But if you paid cash on a qualified VIN, are in a lease that is expiring soon, and negotiate a little harder than I did, you could probably walk out the door with something similar at $34,000. That's almost $10,000 less than MSRP.

Replying to: griesemer1 (Mar 24, 2009 1:24 pm) The Lease incentive is a good deal if you can use it. GM has a generous incentive system. You did well. $10K off MSRP may be a stretch if you cannot use the lease incentive, but $8K off is likely do able. Any $8K off deals out there?
