That puts the price higher than the MDX (including special financing), Honda Pilot, Mazda CX-9 and even lower end ML350s and RX350s. I want to buy American, but given the higher purchase price AND lower resale value, how can I justify that?

| I recently started shopping for a new Acadia in the New York Metro area (Long Island specifically), and I've seen that some people in this forum have gotten some pretty incredible deals. Right now GM is offering $2000 if you have a lease coming due before September, I get supplier pricing, and I'm going to take the special (1.9 for 72 mo.) financing instead of the $2250 they are also offering. Is $4000 off MSRP plus the financing the best deal I can expect to get at this time in this area, or can I do better? And if I can, how do I get them to go lower? Two different dealers refused to go lower than this, and let me walk. I was very surprised. I also belong to Costco, and AAA if this can help me any. It didn't seem to. Any info, advice or help is greatly appreciated. | |

| Have a quote for a '09 SLT1 Acadia in TX. MSRP $39.7k - $100 cash - $2250 rebate = $35,027+ttl. Dealer claimed his Cost was $37,177 (before the cash & rebate). This has the leather, sunroofs, power outlets, power liftgate, trailer pkg. Seems like I can get an Acura MDX for appx the same... Comments, please... | |
