Ford Freestyle vs Hyundai Santa Fe vs Suzuki XL7

This is a no brainer. I have the FS, but have driven both the others. I would go with the Santa FE hands down. Only reason I bought the FS is that I got 8k off the msrp. Though I now regret this decision and I haven't even had any of the problems many others have had with the FS. Good luck.

The weakness in the XL7 is the body integrity (not stiff enough, not as many ripples/welds) compared to the Freestyle, which has a very strong, optimized Volvo-derived body from the expensive Volvo XC90. The XL7 does have a great engine. The XL7 transmission is not quite competitive, because a 6-speed or a CVT is better. I've had a Freestyle for 2 years and love it.
