Thank you cmarinelli. Here's the information that you're looking for. Through March 2nd, Mazda's buy rate lease money factor and residual value for a 36 month lease of a 2009 Mazda CX-9 Touring AWD with 10,000 miles per year are .00073 and 50%, respectively.

I am familiar with the $1,250 lease support that you mentioned, but I haven't heard anything about the $750 dealer cash. The $1,250 is paid for by Mazda and doesn't cost the dealer a thing. Make sure to take it into account when negotiating the selling price for the vehicle that you want to lease.

Hi hbq. Mazda is not providing lease support on the 2008 CX-9 any longer. As a result, if you really want to lease one you will be better off going with a 2009 model. Mazda's current buy rate lease money factor and residual value for a 36 month lease of a 2009 CX-9 GT FWD with 15,000 miles per year are .00073 and 44%, respectively. When negotiating your lease on this truck, make sure to take the $1,250 cash incentive that is currently available on leases of it into account.

The aforementioned incentives are only scheduled to run through today, March 2nd. Mazda will likely introduce its new March program tomorrow. Please feel free to check back with me and I will gladly fill you in on the details of what the new program is like.

If you are determined to go with a 2008 CX-9, you can finance it through Mazda at 0% for up to 5 years or 1.9% for 6 years and take advantage of a $1,000 cash incentive.

How does lease support work? by daphne1

Mazda is offering $1250 Mazda Customer lease support on the CX-9. Can someone tell me how this works? Do we put the $1250 down and get it back? Or is it used as a credit?

Thanks!

I sure do, hbq. Mazda's current buy rate lease money factor and residual value for a 36 month lease of a 2009 CX-9 Touring AWD with 15,000 miles per year are .00052 and 48%, respectively. You never mentioned how long you want to lease for or what mileage allowance you need, so I had to make some assumptions. Let me know if you want something different.

When negotiating your lease on this truck, make sure to take advantage of the $1,250 cash incentive that is currently available on leases of it.

Hi daphne1. The $1,250 that is available on leases of the CX-9 is being paid for by Mazda. It is essentially used as a credit. Negotiate the lowest possible selling price that you can on the new truck that you want and then have the dealer subtract the $1,250 from that.

Was looking at the Touring with roof rack/sunroof and bose with 15,000 miles per year at $525.00 (includes taxes). Does that sounds in the ballpark? All help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Anyone have thoughts on this deal? by collman

Here's the quote what I got from a dealer in Seattle WA.
09' CX-9 GT AWD w/Rear Ent.Sys. Roof Rack and Splash Guards
MSRP : $39,010.00
Invoice : $35,911.00
Final Price : $32,911.00 (they said this price excludes lease incentives)

$570.51(including tax)/m - 36months, 12K miles/Y, $0 due at signing
$558.56(including tax)/m - 36months, 10K miles/Y, $0 due at signing

They said the current incentive is a $1,250 rebate along with a .00052 money factor and a 48% residual over 10K miles OR a 47% residual over 12K miles.
(...I thought the residual is more than 48% or 47%...??)

$32,911.00 is a good deal I think. But, monthly payment is higher than I thought.
This is my first lease, so I'm learning now. Do I need to ask more detail quotes for taxes and the rest??
Anyone have thoughts on this deal? Think I can do better? Greatly appreciate it.

I just leased an 09 GT (fully loaded with GT Assist Package, Moonroof/Bose, Roof Rack, Trailer Tow Hitch Receiver: MSRP for $40,860) for $36,932 (including TT&L and no money down, except first payment) on December 27. It's for 36 months at 12k/yr at $551/month. The MF is .00093 and residual is at 49% (36 months at 10k/yr would have been at $538/month with residual at 50%).

I believe you would be paying too much for this vehicle ~ even though the "Final Price" seems to be lower, your monthly payments are way too high!
