I am looking for a 2008 CX-9 GT AWD and found a dealership in NJ who posted them on their website but does not have them in stock. The salesperson said they may not get the cars until Sept/Oct. Is this legal?

July lease numbers? by dougtap01

Does anyone know if the July numbers are the same as June?

I had put money down and have a contract from the end of June, but they needed to do a locate for me. The car is supposedly going to be available later this week. I have no reason to suspect they will play any games, but I'd be reassured to know the July numbers ahead of time in case they try anything.

This was for an AWD GT, 24 months, 10.5k miles/year. The June numbers were 67% and .00053 money factor.

Thanks for any insightm and thanks for all the great info posted here.

I just helped my mom negotiate this deal
MSRP $39,7xx
Sales price $36,5xx (I think it was invoice)
$299 processing (only part of the deal I didn't like)
I should have went for $299 under invoice.
0.0% 36 month financing
Thanks Car-man for your help!
but also tell me what you think of that deal.

They were definately CX-9's. The dealer is Wayne Mazda in NJ. I would think it should be illegal to advertise something you don't have. They claim to have approximaely 18 cars., Details, specs, etc. on thier website and taking deposits.

Just signed a deal at Long Island Mazda dealer for CX9 Sport. Pretty basic except for power driver seat. $30,070 MSRP. Ended up with $399 per month, 24 month, 12k with nothing but first payment down. Feel like this is a pretty good deal. Thoughts?

Lease Rates - What's July into August Like? by tech_guy

My local dealer just gave me the following rates which seem high compared to what I've been reading on this Forum. Can someone confirm what the ACTUAL Mazda Credit Buy Rates are as of TODAY?

I told her to assume 'A Credit' and here is what she gave me (as compared to what I've written down from reading this forum)

The money factor:
24 months is .00078 (I've been seeing .00053)
36 months is .00124 (I've been seeing .00115)

The Residual for 24 months:
at 15K is 63% (I've been seeing 64%)
at 12K is 65% (I've been seeing 67%)

The Residual for 36 months:
at 15K is 52% (I've been seeing 54%)
at 12K is 54% (I've been seeing 57%)

If someone can give me an update, that would be great. I suspect she's just negotiating but want to be sure before I push her on it. If anyone has a lead on August rates and the date they would change, that would be great too! I'm going to check other dealerships and make a deal this week - I've identified about a half dozen vehicles within 100 miles that I'm willing to buy.

Thanks!
