Hi bragot. Generally speaking manufacturers' advertised lease payments are usually decent deals. Having said this, consumers who are in an area that has a decent level of competition and who shop around are usually able to beat manufacturers' advertised deals by negotiating a lower selling price than they are based upon. Comparison shop with a few dealers for the CX-9 that you want and then have the dealer that you are working with use Mazda's buy rate lease money factor (which I have mentioned in previous posts) to calculate your monthly payment. Leasing can be confusing, so keep it simple and focus on the selling price and money factor and you'll be fine.

Hi readyformyrl. If I was in the market for a CX-9 and I had access to Ford's X-Plan I definitely would use it. It will guarantee that you will get an excellent price on this vehicle without having to haggle. Let me know what the X-Plan price is for the CX-9 that you want and I'll run a few sample lease payments on it for you.

Hello Kathy. $500 over dealer invoice is a good deal on the CX-9 right now. Furthermore, the .00115 money factor that you were quoted is right in line with Mazda Credit's buy rate for this model. If you like it, I personally don't see any reason not to go for it.

Car man to clarify I have the S-plan, I wasn't sure, it's basically invoice, but depending on how the car is packaged I've learned that any options added after factory are not residualized which makes for a negative reflection in lease payment. I'm attempting to find cars that have SIRIUS, REMOTE START, COMPASS AUTO DAY MIRROR on it already because the price differential ranges from a low of $531/mo (including local property tax, 6% sales Tax and 1400-1500 for fees) at 10,500 miles 36 mos to a high of $650/mo with the same out of pocket for similarly configured cars.
Invoice would be hovering around $36,100...what do you think?

I bought in PA, although I live in NY. I did had trouble finding the exact options and color I wanted (red with sunroof , nav, roof rack) locally, hence the 3 hour drive to find one. I think some of that had to do with the fact that I bought under S-plan, which made dealers unwilling to trade (but perfectly happy to sell direct).
MSRP was 38,580 and purchase price was 36,371. 10,500 miles per year on the lease.
Good luck!

I was given the following numbers for a lease on a CX-9 Sport, no navigation, no moonroof, etc.
$2500 out of pocket
36 mo.
10,500 miles
$359/month
Does this sound like a good deal? Thanks in advance!
