2004 vue with slight belt slippage at initial acceleration experienced reduced power light (with the actual reduction in power), check engine light and traction control light. Restarting engine removed everything but check engine light. Is there any possible connection between the lights and the belt slippage? If your belt is slipping than you might want to think about replacing the belt tensioner also, this is a sign of it wearing out. I'd advise taking to dealer to have reduced power light checked, especially if your Vue has the VTI transmission in it.
