This topic is a little less serious than the others. What kind of "extras" did your dealership do for you? Did they send you any "Thank you gifts"? Did they offer any special services?   For me, I just received a pair of stainless steel auto mugs with a thermos and case. I bought mine from Lexus of Rockville Centre (NY).   It was two months after I picked up the car that I received the auto mugs/Thermos.   I have been waiting on touch up paint though. I spoke with the salesman and he keeps saying that the special order is the wrong color. It's been 3 weeks now. I'm not sure if he's going to charge me for it or if he will give it to me at no charge. I have a friend who paid off a Mazda 3 and the dealer sent him touch up paint as a "Thank you" gift after receiving his final payment.

My thank you gift was a new transmission! But, we did get the Lexus keychain & chrome lexus license plate frame.

I also got a coupon for free 1000-mile check-up and a free tank of gas whenever I sent my car in for service. Replying to: egm1 (Feb 20, 2007 12:36 pm) The only thank you gift I rcvd from Lexus of Clearlake (Houston area)was they cashed my check. Experienced problems with the delivery of the car...but overall I love the car. Still think the nav in the Acura TL is superior!
