We were comparing functionality, and no Journey fan should speak about styling. The Journey is a plain wagon. Now let's get to a real argument.

I know it was shelved about a year ago, but Journey sales seem to be going strong. I like the Journey more and more everytime I see it. It seems like a Chrysler version would be great- with some 300C styling, a better interior and about 50+ more horsepower. But I guess Chrysler has too any other problems to deal with.

I agree with a Chrysler version once the new Phoenix engines come out, but the styling would have to be drastically different...and no lines in the hood.

what is up with the lines on the hood? is that from a past model or something? I looked at the new sebring when I bought my journey (not to buy one, chrysler has a reputation for making beautiful looking cars with loads of mechanical problems) and HATED the lines on the hood! I cannot figure out why they did that, isnt there lines on the new durango too?

Chrysler completely screwed that car up. We don't even have to discuss that failure.

After taking a look at dealerships, I will officially say that I would buy a Journey before a Honda Pilot.

No, no the Acadia is being dicontinued. But not because it is a failure, as it sells better than the Journey and is one of the most popular CUVs on the market. GM will discontinue the entire GMC line to cut down on brand overlap.

I just picked mine up after being in the shop for the third time for the transmission leaking and an electrical problem... day three no problems. They did the recall while it was in and another recall for the liftgate as well that has not been mailed yet so ... heads up!

No lines int the hood of the Durango, but in the Chrysler version, the Aspen. It started on the small Crossfire Coupe, which never sold well. Somehow, they took that as a hint to do it again. Go figure.
