Replying to: jackjeckel757 (Jan 19, 2009 5:01 pm) Check the actuator under battery tray, it should be drawed back into the casing when 4hi or 4lo is engaged. If not trace down the vacuum. Not sure if the light hookes to the shift cable on the front passenger axle like the older s10's or not.

I have a 2000 Sonoma 4x4, and the actuator/servo(under the battery tray) keeps blowing out....the rubber bellows keeps ripping or it separates from the body...it has been replaced 5 times this year !! The transfer case does engage , the buttons work fine. But without the actuator the Hubs dont lock in.....HELP....winter is coming....thanks.....
