I currently get an offer for new 2008 Grand Touring AWD for about $28,000 with the following options:
* TOWING PACKAGE (don't really need this)
* BLIND SPOT MONITORING SYSTEM
* ALL-WEATHER FLOOR MATS
* ROOF RAILS
* SIRIUS SATELLITE RADIO
* WHEEL LOCKS

How does it look?

Can anybody enlighten me about a difference between Touring and Grand Touring besides 20-inch wheels. I spent about 2 hours crawling the web and trying to figure it out. Mazda web site mixes standard features and options, so it's not informative.

Also, I can't seem to find the price for blind-spot monitoring option on Edmunds. Anyone knows what is the price for such option?

TIA

According to MazdaUsa.com
Grand Touring:
Touring model plus:
    * 20" alloy chrome wheels
    * Auto on/off xenon high-intensity discharge low-beam headlights w/ manual leveling & plus fog lights
    * Side view mirrors with marker lights & chrome door handles
    * Rain-sensing, variable-intermittent windshield wipers
    * 3 memory setting, 8-way adjustable power diver's seat with power lumbar support & silver and wood patterned trim accents
    * Electroluminescent gauges and blue indirect lighting
    * Smart card with Mazda advanced keyless entry and start system
    * Blind spot monitoring system* (available fall 2007)

I remember that BSM is an option of $200. Invoice is around $150 for it.

Wow, sleepybubba! How and where did you get such an awesome quote for that outfit? Did you get a choice of colours?

No choice of colors. Basically this quote is for a certain car and they have no more of those. But the Crystal White is the color I like, so this is no problem. Actually, this car is way more than I need but I will be looking at it tonight anyways as I feel it's decent deal.

Oh, anyone knows how expensive 20" tires can be?

Holy crap, those that are getting these amazing deals must share. What dealers are you able to negotiate such low prices?

If you can't post it, could you please email me.

Thanks

I've got an offer for an 08 GT FWD, with Nav, Moonroof, BSM, Tow with an MSRP of 39,330 for 36,552 plus taxes/fees. Then I could either do the Mazda financing (1.9 for 60 mos) or take another 2k off the price. From my earlier reading, this seemed to be a decent deal, but in light of some of these new numbers I am seeing, it doesn't look quite as good.

Has everyone recently had the choice of taking some more money off OR the financing deal? How much lower do you think I can expect to get this for? I'll probably want to make a counter offer, but I'm just not sure what I could legitimately get it down to.

Thanks for all the info on this forum, its great.

Ok,
 Here is how I got the deal . I took the $4000 rebate intead of 1.9 and found my own Financing. the rate I found was 4.9 working the numbers my payment was 4 dollars more a month. Using my Financing . I was back and forth between Manhattan and Wantagh mazda they were willing to negotiate the most. Wantagh was awesome, I am really happy with them !!! I pick up my car tonight.
Forget Country Mazda they were true !#
