About to order by newmazda

I am about to order a CX-9, AWD Touring with the Bose-Moon roof package. The prices people are posting look great, yet I just hope they are the same in my area. Are people in Massachusetts paying under invoice? I am a member of AAA and was told that price is a % over invoice and then I am eligible for $1000 rebate or 2.9% financing. Does anyone have pricing experience in MA or northern CT.

Thank you for your help!!!

Please post your deal in terms of $ under the invoice price.

March was a slow month, did anyone close a deal?

07 CX-9 $0 under invoice. At invoice.

08 CX-9 $1487 under invoice. The new standard for this car is around $1K under invoice. Watch out for the extra fees!

Includes rebates (If there are any).

Paying extra fees (Doc Fee, etc...) are still having an impact on these deals.

Keep posting those good deals.

Good Luck!

Visited the dealer today and attempted to pick up a CX-9 with:
AWD Grand Touring
Touring Assist
Moon-roof + Bose
Remote Start
Roof rails
slash guards

Invoice on Edmunds was 37K. They showed me an invoice sheet that added a $500 assessment fee. I offered $36,500 including the fee and they said 'No can do'...so I left.

BSM as an Option? by frugalsc

I just picked up my GR AWD

According to the dealer and the window sticker...BSM is actually an option for all trims for $200 MSRP...but according to Edmunds and KBB, BSM is a standard feature for the GT trim...

What's going on here...

By the way i paid (GT AWD w Assist, Moonroof, Autodimming, wheet locks)36,295 + 750.00 lease incentive for the car + 1,400 of BS fees

So at the end of the day I'm pretty close to 1,000 under invoice...

Even their glossy brochure states that BSM is standard on the GT. I've had an ongoing argument with the dealer for over 2 months now. Wrote to Mazda USA in Irvine who are more than aware of this problem. Fasle advertising? Can't do this any more -- it's illegal.

As has been said, check the actual build date of your vehicle. The BSM became standard GT equipment circa 9/07. Before that, it was a $200 option on all trim levels. Since then, not so much.

Don't reach for the attorney's card just yet. You most likely don't have a claim.

where is the best place to fine the build date of my car...so if my car was built after 9/07 then i was overcharged for the car? the fact that my car is an 2008...doesn't that mean my car was definitely build after 09/07??

again...i picked up the car over the weekend and there was a $200 charge for BSM, and if I can fine the build date and it's after 09/07...can i ask the dealer to refund me $200??

i'm pretty sure i'm going to need official documentation and/or proof that this is all true..where can i get all this in writing?? and no offense to all those who contribute to this forum..but i don't think i can use this forum as my official documentation or proof...

thanks..

Build date can be found at the base of B-pillar. Open the driver's door, and look at the stickers at the base near the sill.
Any car on sale on dealer's lot after Jan 02, 2007 (see Wikipedia, search "model year") can be claimed as 2008 model.
That is the prevailing Fed regulation (even though there might be some arguments on this). You can now find 2009 Nissan Murano on sale at Nissan dealers since Feb/2008.
Anyway, depending on how much doc you can produce as proof, you might ot might not have a case. Good luck.

Production for the 2008 CX-9 started around May/June 2007.
