Looking For A CX9 GT in AWD in Florida by bondguy1

I have been having a hard time finding this vehicle with the exact equipment I want. Looking for Brilliant Black with either color interior with:
GT Assist Pkg
Moonroof/Bose
Remote Start
Auto Dimming Mirrors/Compass
Sirius Satellite
Blindspot Alert
The vehicles I'm looking at sometimes have additional items such as wind deflector or mud flaps...that's okay too. Need to know if anyone has dona a similarly equipped car recently with 15K miles annually with just inceptions down (Lease). Any help would be appreciated.

Also, I have heard a lot of bad things about the NAV system on the CX9. Is there any truth to this and what do people hate about it?

With 2008s being sold for around $1400-1500 under invoice, I would think (but I could be wrong) one would hope to be able to get more than a $500 discount on the purchase of last year's model.

Excluding the first year, what is the annual deprecation on this model?

One would think that there would be some additional factory to dealer money for last year's model. Is there a factory to customer rebate?

Pro:

Save on the 08 price increase (double check the invoice) to confirm

Save $500-600 on current best price of 08s

Con:

No 08 upgrades

Additional year depreciation

I would try to lower the price, the car has been on the lot for over a year!

Good Luck!

I think I have to stop reading these posts....but I can't help myself!!

I tend to do things bassackwards....(such as finding this forum AFTER buying) but I need to know....Just purchased an:

'08 GT FWD-Demo w/ 3k miles....(in South Florida-does area make a difference?)
Sunroof/Bose
Auto-Dimming/Homelink Rearview
Blind Spot Monitoring
Mud Flaps
Hood Deflector
Cargo Cover
Cargo Net
All minor imperfections replaced or repaired

"All of this" for $33,195. + their dealer "bs" prep(non neg) for $899.50
I purchased 3.9%. I was a little disappointed at the 3.9% since afterwards I read where Mazda was offering 2.9% for Feb. To malke matters worse, I bought on the LAST DAY OF THE MONTH...AND..helped them meet their "quota"....I am now so mad and disappointed at myself. ....but, need to hear the truth...so, I'm anxiously awaiting feedback....please be gentle though!!

Thanks in advance!!

Hi Seloo,

Sorry for just now responding. The vehicle is still being built so I am unable to close on it yet. The dealer said probably another 5 or 6 weeks. I can update you on the prices though. They went up from my last post because I added a dvd player option. Still a pretty good deal though.

MSRP - $42,605
Invoice - $38,813
Selling - $36,020 (not including TTL)
Misc Fees - $250 doc fee

Bottom Line - $2,793 under invoice

Let me know if you have any questions. Thanks.

Dsier,

Your deal is looking good. (you need to subtract the fees from your bottom line, but still that is a great number)

How much is the rebate?

Good work!

Near Cleveland I was quoted 31,600 for 2008 Touring FWD with moonroof/bose with 2.9% financing for 60 months.

I thought the price was too high...but was told by the internet sales rep that I would not be eligible for the 2.9% if she were to lower the price further.

I'll find out next week after a vist to the dealer.

About to order by newmazda

I am about to order a CX-9, AWD Touring with the Bose-Moon roof package. The prices people are posting look great, yet I just hope they are the same in my area. Are people in Massachusetts paying under invoice? I am a member of AAA and was told that price is a % over invoice and then I am eligible for $1000 rebate or 2.9% financing. Does anyone have pricing experience in MA or northern CT.

Thank you for your help!!!

Please post your deal in terms of $ under the invoice price.

March was a slow month, did anyone close a deal?

07 CX-9 $0 under invoice. At invoice.

08 CX-9 $1487 under invoice. The new standard for this car is around $1K under invoice. Watch out for the extra fees!

Includes rebates (If there are any).

Paying extra fees (Doc Fee, etc...) are still having an impact on these deals.

Keep posting those good deals.

Good Luck!

Visited the dealer today and attempted to pick up a CX-9 with:
AWD Grand Touring
Touring Assist
Moon-roof + Bose
Remote Start
Roof rails
slash guards

Invoice on Edmunds was 37K. They showed me an invoice sheet that added a $500 assessment fee. I offered $36,500 including the fee and they said 'No can do'...so I left.

BSM as an Option? by frugalsc

I just picked up my GR AWD

According to the dealer and the window sticker...BSM is actually an option for all trims for $200 MSRP...but according to Edmunds and KBB, BSM is a standard feature for the GT trim...

What's going on here...

By the way i paid (GT AWD w Assist, Moonroof, Autodimming, wheet locks)36,295 + 750.00 lease incentive for the car + 1,400 of BS fees

So at the end of the day I'm pretty close to 1,000 under invoice...
