Replying to: seloo (Mar 02, 2008 6:07 am) I was offered at $31600/cash or 32600/2.9% with reabte and dealer's hold back a week ago. I didn't take it. Sales person called me back on 02/28 and told me end of the month would be the time to make deals. He offered me $32000 and asked me to come in next day. I went in around noon, sales person showed me the car again, and told me his manager gave me a better deal ($100 less) than what he told me. Off course, I didn't argue with him for working on a better deal for me.

I am new to forums and new to this website. We are car shopping and came across a 2007 CX9 AWD Grand Touring automobile at a dealer in Iowa. I was searching this site to further investigate the reliability of this vehicle and thought I would ask all of the experts about this price. Options: Bose/Moonroof, Towing Package MSRP: $36,755, been at the dealer since September 2007 Edmunds research indicates the TMV Dealer retail is $31960 and the Certified Vehicle price is $33960. This car has 200 miles on it probably from test drives. Dealer offer: $32755 and maybe 2.9% financing (took $4,000 off) Trade In involved $4500 ($500 more than we expected) We could pay cash for the vehicle. Would a dealer lower their price if we offered cash? This does not seem like the best we can do here. Any advice. Inexperienced car buyer--thanks.

I am looking for buying a Mazda CX-9 Grand Touring which has an MSRP of 41465, What should be the purchase price for this SUV? Looking at details in the forum I think the Invoice Price should be close to 37900$. Can I expect the price to be 2000$ less then the Invoice price. I intend to buy this SUV within 2 days. Regards, Masood

Attempting to buy a CX9 and had some questions about some of the fees and the best deal I could get. Working with a dealer who is shady as usual. He quoted me 5.9% financing as the best available and then after I researched online that 2.9% was available said that because it was the beginning of the month he was not informed (it was offered in Feb, too).... Is that the best I can do or can I expect to negotiate another $1000 off of S Plan? Is the Destination Fee negotiable or Legit? How about the Tag and Doc Fees? I am going to work with a couple of different dealers after my first experience. Your thoughts, ideas and suggestions would be appreciated! Thanks.... |
