I'm looking to see if I'm getting an okay deal here in California. I'm getting similar pricing from multiple dealers. When I asked about below invoice I was told that didn't happen in CA.

MSRP: $39,010
Price: $36,500
$3,000 down
$750 rebate applied down
Lease 36 months $470 +tax
Lease 24 months $486 +tax

Is this an okay deal for my region? Should I be looking at other dealers farther away?

Thanks for any feedback.

Your deal looks like $1559 under invoice, based on the best prices reported on this board that would be one of the best. Since it is close to the end of the month, I would try for $2K under invoice.

You need to crunch the numbers to determine the difference between 5.9 and 2.9%.

Is it worth more than $1670?

Watch out for extra fees.

Good Luck!

I'm trying to calculate the invoice price. Using Edmonds, it comes in at $650 over invoice.

I believe you can do better.

Make them an offer (at least $1K below invoice with no extra fees) and then walk away. Maybe Mazda will increase incentives in March. Time is on your side.

Good Luck!

For february, it is 2.9% APR or 1000 rebate. So the difference between the 2 quotes should be 1000 and not 1670.

You can definitely do better. Just purchased GT FWD in So Cal for $1000 below + $750 rebate. Dealers were initially offering invoice or $500 above. I gave my offer and it was finally accepted. Would've loved an AWD, but difficult to find in So Cal with my options and color choice.

Good Luck!

Can you tell me which dealer you purchased from?
Was it a car they had or did they have to trade for it?

Anyone know of any March or April incentives? Looking to buy in next couple months, and was happy to see the 2.9% for February. I figure with other company's at 0%, and with the way the economy is currently, there may be some great deals in the coming months. Not to mention how dealerships may jump on some way to capture the tax rebates that are coming in May. Glad to hear most people are getting below invoice. Thanks!
