Replying to: maverick8 (Feb 22, 2008 9:42 am) I appreciate your thinking here as well Mav in refute however I assure you the ratio is real. You have incorrectly leveled your costs in comparison to the field as there are fixed costs at play such as money down. You have to equate 2500 down in order to get your ratio. In your case another 2000 down = -54 per month. Your sign and drive deal was a good one and your gut has done you well without applying a demand ratio. Your actual LPDR is 96 which is terrific. |

Looking for opinions... 2008 CX9 Sport - Galaxy Gray Mica: Moonroof and Bose Audio Package Back Up Camera w/Auto-Dimming Mirror Display Power Seat Roof Rails Retractable Cargo Cover MSRP: $33,265 Invoice: $30,539 Dealers: $30,000 to $30,900 Out of Door Price: $32,200 to $33,200 They are having the Backup camera installed at the dealer, since they can't find the car on my color with it in Texas. Am I being offered a good deal? They have to drive the car 300 miles to get it here, since nobody in town has my color, is this usually OK? Thanks a lot!!!

Replying to: seloo (Feb 25, 2008 12:49 pm) These were quoted by 4 dealers in town, using edmunds internet price request. There is no trade involved. Do I need to get a detail quote in order to compare the different quotes? Thanks a lot!

I have been looking to purchase a new vehicle to replace my '02 Honda Odyssey. I've looked at Cx-9, Highlander, Pilot, Sequoia, Arcadia. I love the room of the Sequoia but feel a little glutenous with the gas consumption etc. I have 3 kids ages 5-11 and a huge dog that goes everywhere with us. Anyway, I am getting way off topic. I am leaning toward the CX-9. I am looking at the GT AWD '08 model. I really don't care about the color although I do like the Crystal white pearl. For options I would want: GT Assistance package Moonroof/Bose Roof rails (for the bubble/skis that I know we will need with this smaller car) All weather floor matts (for obvious reasons/messy dogs and kids) Cargo matt Auto dim compass homelink mirror Blind spot monitor (which is standard on late model '08's I think) So what should this bad boy cost me? I live in MA. I will be buying in March/April, no hurry though. I will not be trading in my minivan. Thanks and any input would be appreciated,

Replying to: kidschlepper (Feb 26, 2008 2:25 am) 07 CX-9 $0 under invoice. At invoice. 08 CX-9 $1487 under invoice. The new standard for this car is around $1K under invoice. Watch out for the extra fees! Includes rebates (If there are any). Paying extra fees (Doc Fee, etc...) are still having an impact on these deals. Keep posting those good deals. |
