Pulled the trigger on an 08 AWD Sport, with power driver seat and roof rack. MSRP was around 31,900, dealer sold it to me for 22,200 plus 6% tax and $140 in fees. They also discounted their extended warranty (60m/100k) from an outrageous $1799 to $899. I believe they had 3 cx-9's on the lot when I visited. Replying to: mitchinpa (Jan 05, 2009 7:05 am) I tried hard to get a CX-9 '08 saturday for 9k off MSRP (austin,TX). The lowest I got was $7500 off. Their deal ends today. So I guess I'll wait and see if they come down. I have time. I was able to get them to mark down a '09 $3500 off MSRP btw.

2008 CX-9 Sport with AWD, added options include power drivers seat and sirius satelite radio.   MSRP 32,115 + Service fee 179 - discount 2442 (invoice price/s plan) Discounted to 29, 852   Dealer cash back 5,250 Owner Loyalty 1000   $23102 + tax title license   Overall, I'm pretty happy with the deal. At that point we were willing to pay $22,600 for a CR-V. Now we get a bigger car, bigger motor, and similar interior for only 500 more! Can't beat that!

Jeff Schmidt in Beavercreek, Ohio came down about the same. We purchased ours at Matt Castrucci in Centerville, Ohio for about $8k off a sport model. You can check on autotrader.com to see what they have on hand.
