Replying to: pickanyone (Dec 12, 2008 11:20 am) $11000 off invoice would be like $14000 off msrp, and that would be totally insane. one only get those kinds of deals for things like H2 Hummers |

| I know most quotes on here are for GTs but I was just quoted 22,800 on a Sport with MSRP of 30,635. This does include the Owner Loyalty discount also. | |

The dealership I am dealing with are claiming that the $7250 dealer cash on the GT is not true. Is there anywhere I can go to see this number please?

Replying to: pickanyone (Dec 12, 2008 5:11 pm) I'm within $200 of invoice on '08 AWD GT (about $8,500 off MSRP), but that is only accounting for the $4250 rebate. And it has been a real struggle to get to this price. No chance they will bite on this extra $3K off. |

Thanks to everyone who has posted on this forum - very informative and was helpful during the purchase process. Just bought a 08 GT AWD over the weekend: sticker price: $40k options: moonroof, assistance pkg. purchase price:$30k + TTL I think there are still a few 08 GT AWD in and around the Boston area though color combination etc. might be more difficult. On the 09 GT AWDs, most of the quotes that I was getting were around $35.5 to $36 K so I decided to go with the 08s instead.

Hey guys, I'm confused and can use some help. Should I even bother approaching a dealer for an S-Plan price, or can one do better negotiating on your own? Does anyone know how much commission a dealer gets for an S-Plan sale?

Replying to: Hurlba (Dec 16, 2008 8:15 am) Also, as an S-Plan customer, you are supposed to inform the participating dealer that you are right off the bat, as per the Partner Program rules. Your company, or whoever you are getting the PIN from tells you that. Feel free to do what you think will give you the best deal. It ultimately depends on what the dealer is willing to do. Why don't you submit an Internet inquiry to a few area dealers and see what you get, and take it from there. That's my advice. You may get a better price then S-Plan that way. Who knows! |
