I had a deal give me a good price last month on an 08 CX-9 but it was still around $1500 more than I had budgeted. He said he had given me every dollar he could but called on the 1st to say that Mazda was now offering additional cash. Anyone have any idea how much it is? Thanks!

The local dealer here, Royal Motors, was a complete jerk when he couldnt match/beat a lower offer from one his competitors. I posted a review of this dealership. Anyhow, I have my fingers crossed that this will be the month for a better deal because of the awful sales numbers for Sept. Thanks,

Just bought a new 2008 CX-9 GT MSRP: $34,205 for $10,000 off. It was $25,947 out the door. Very easy transaction, asked for best drive out price and was told pick any CX-9 on the lot, take $10,000 off and add TT&L. It was that easy, no hassle. Dealership was Russell and Smith. Dealt with Internet Sales manager Roy Howard. Very happy with it.

Replying to: sel0511 (Oct 09, 2008 5:52 pm) Congrats! It's pretty amazing how the TX area dealers are offering 10k off msrp for any 08 CX-9s. The dealers up here in Northern California will only go that route with a few fully loaded GTs. Anything below a GT seems to only get you max approx 6000 to 7000 off msrp - and that's with the Costco buying program. Why aren't they serving the Kool-aide up here in Norcal?

I went ahead and did the 10 yr / 100K for $1300. For add'l accessories, I purchased from Med Center Mazda on the net. They sell for 22 - 25% off list, and no tax / free shipping.
