Replying to: badself (Sep 29, 2008 9:47 am) 2008 Mazda CX-9 Touring (Roof Rails, MP3/6-Disc, Remote Start) $33385 - MSRP/Sticker -$2634 Employer Discount (S-Plan Pricing aka Invoice $307051) -$4000 Dealer to Factory Cash Back (Can't use Mazda Credit 1.9% if you take this) -$1500 Dealer Sales/Quota Bonus (I'm pretty sure this was supposed to be $2000) -$500 Customer Loyalty -$1000 Lease Customer Rebate (I was leasing a Mazda 6 that I turned in) Total - $23751 ($9634 off MSRP) I think they held back $500 on the Sales/Quota bonus cash, and/or possibly $500 on the $4k dealer/factory rebate (Ive seen reports thats its supposed to be $4500). Either way I feel like I got a great deal and I'm sure they still made money.

| Mazda now has 0% for 60 months on all 08 CX-9's or you can take a $4,250 rebate. Today is the first day of Chase as being the financial arm of Mazda. Mazda will be also using Ford Motor Credit for 15 more days until all dealers are signed on with Chase. | |

| in addition to the 4250, is Mazda still giving $$ to dealers if they meet their numbers? If so, how much? | |

I had a deal give me a good price last month on an 08 CX-9 but it was still around $1500 more than I had budgeted. He said he had given me every dollar he could but called on the 1st to say that Mazda was now offering additional cash. Anyone have any idea how much it is? Thanks!

Replying to: dookydevil (Oct 01, 2008 5:01 pm) Did he give you a new price or was it just a generic message? None of the dealers I spoke with last month called back on with any new offers. The local dealer here, Royal Motors, was a complete jerk when he couldnt match/beat a lower offer from one his competitors. I posted a review of this dealership. Anyhow, I have my fingers crossed that this will be the month for a better deal because of the awful sales numbers for Sept. Thanks,
