Been to two mazda dealers to buy a CX-9. I was referring to the discount [sleepybubba] got in MA and these guys were not ever ready to listen. They think themselves to be largest Mazda dealer in North America, but does not want to get rid of the 08 stock.   Anyone have better experience w/ Northern Jersey dealers, please share. The dealers I had bad experience are Lodi & Wayne dealers.

Replying to: pop11 (Aug 16, 2008 11:24 am) I paid less than that in April '08 when the incentive was only $1,500. My CX-9 had an MSRP of $41,405 including remote start. It took some work, but I got them down to $35,000 plus taxes and tags. In April, that was about the best you could do.   I'd take their ass back to school, or find another dealer willing to "deal".   Right now, the bottom line is nearly $10,000 off of MSRP. Believe me, I know this the hard way.   Your price would be a fair price on an '09, but way too high for an '08 at model close.

thanks for the reply   They are comming down now on the grand touring 2008 GT AWD with gt assist, towing package, Moonroof/bose, Blindspot, All weather floor mates, roof rails, front/rear splash guard   to 33,539 cash   do you guys think i can do better

I bought an '08 GT FWD, moodroof/bose/navigation (basically everything but AWD and DVD) for $32,300. I got them to knock half off the navigation system because I bought another CX-9 and the computer went bad the first day. Since the computer is on backorder they wanted to give me a loaner for the duration. I told them to get me into another vehicle, one with navigation, and I would split the difference. They also ordered a roof rack for me at no charge. I am happy with my buying experience, and absolutely love my new CX-9. Milo Gordon Mazda, Lawton, OK.

Does any one know the differences between the 2009 Cx-9 and the 2008 CX-9.   I am in the market for a SUV with 7 seats, i am still deciding between a Acura MDX and this vehicle. I was getting quotes for an ACURA MDX with sport package for 38 K Where as this CX-9 , i best i could get was 32K ( with the navigation and moonroof packages ) .   Is it worth it for going for CX-9 for a 6k difference ?   I found that the Cx-9 depreciates a lot faster than the MDX Replies to this message: sleepybubba (Aug 18, 2008 6:58 am) ceric (Aug 18, 2008 9:26 am)

Although at this point it's hard to say how the CX-9 will depreciate as the car is not even 2 years-old and there is not enough data to measure the depreciation.   The CX-9 won me due to a) the price and b) the sum of all features you are getting for the price. Comparing the GT package I got (see here) and MDX Base I was after, the GT has practially everything the MDX base had. On the top of that, the CX-9 has much larger and more comfortable interior, especially in the third row seat area and cargo room, and much quieter ride while still being very responsive. And look at those beautiful 20" wheels...   If you are unsure, test-drive both and see what you like more.
