that the 2008 Mitsubishi Lancer is 95% of the car the upcoming EVO-X is? Before you judge that comment go study up on the '08 Lancer and '09 EVO-X. Take that as you may but to me it means that the Lancer I'm looking at buying has component-ture that equals 95% of what the EVO-X has. Having studied the features and engineering of this car as much as I have the past few weeks I think the standard Lancer is around 90-95% of the EVO-X. You look at the suspension, steering, interior features and basically the motor and the Lancer is a huge stepping stone towards the EVO-X. Makes me feel proud. |

Mitsubishi around in the U.S for me. I would invite anoyone reading to study up on this car. It is well-thought out and so full of engineering prowess that it...it...simply rocks my house like a 1974 Foghat concert at Seattle's Hec Edmundson Pavilion. That was the first time I saw Foghat and the rest is history. History's finest rock band ever started humbly by following "bigger" acts...i.e. Rod Stewart and opening up for them. I have studied Mitsubishi's engineering on this car and it looks stellar and awesome. Do we need a Tire Pressure Monitoring System though? Wouldn't hurt, eh? I can't wait to get mine! Coolio topped off with a big 'ole Iglasius!

Lancer possibility. I have heard that a Lancer hatchback is on the way and a Ralliart is on the way for the 2008 model year. I would sure love to see '08 Lancer prices for all three Lancer models and option packages. |

What's the fuel economy on the 08' Lancer ? It would be interesting to see what the 3's will be on the EVO-X Rocky

Dropped by the local Mitsu dealer today to walk around and check things out. The local hiphop station was broadcasting live on the lot and blaring rap music. I u-turned it out of there--maybe another day after hours... |

Replying to: rockylee (Feb 24, 2007 9:08 pm) What I meant to say it will be interesting to see what the MPG's will be on the EVO-X. I didn't mean to stir the pot in the 09' Skyline forum but dude it looks like a waste of money to buy a Nissan Skyline when the EVO-X gives you probably more handeling technology for half the money. The Mitsubishi dealer I would assume won't be selling this car for $10K over sticker either like the Nissan dealers. Rocky |

mileage figures are 21 city and 29 highway. BTW-ZZ Top is playing on April 24th here in Prescott Valley(a Phoenix burb)but I have to work. I don't like to take time off for rock concerts so I may drive to Vegas to see the little 'ole band from Texas. I'll disclose more information on the '08 Mitsubishi Lancer as soon as I find it out. I have sent e-mails looking for answers all over the planet(literally). I do know that the Lancer is coming to dealers in March and I don't know '08 Lancer prices. I got one e-mail back from a Mitsubishi corporate branch saying that they couldn't tell me prices yet but expect the '08 Lancer to start out at $14,000 for the GL model(the lowest end Lancer model). One does get a great car for that $14,000, though. Gotta purchase one of these cars, man! |

Caught the tail end of a news article about low speed damage tests. Many of the most popular models got $4000 or more damage from a 6mph bump. The Galant was an exception with less than $1500 damage. Anyone know the web site for these tests? I'd like to see how the other Mitsu models faired. BTW, they also tested a 1981 Ford Excort. Total damage....$89. |
