Mitsubishi Lancer and EVO X. Evidently in the UK they have been praised for their sound design and great looks already, but, it's cool to see that the appraisers there are putting the new compact's resale values at all-time highs. Mitsubishi's hard work is paying off, gentlemen! magazine. They make good...ummm...hamster fodder. I have never seen a more biased, inconsequential piece of garbage magazine than Consumer Reports. I already went through all of their crap with my last two new cars, a '99 Kia Sephia and a 2001 Kia Sportage 4X4. They were truly very good vehicles and the cost-to-own them was very reasonable. And guess how Clodsumer Retorts treated Kia? Right. I find their peddlings to be mere drivel, though. You're right, if it ain't Hon-Duh or Thai-ot-a with Clodsumer Retorts it ain't worth a toot. Their product is baseless and lame. Very, very lame. OTOH-Mitsubishi is a bright star on the rise, gentlemen.

A lot less sugar coating from Mitsu this year... April 1, 2008 -- Cypress, Calif. -- Mitsubishi Motors today announced total March 2008 sales of 10,750. Galant was the volume leader at 2,676, up 26.6% from last March's volume. This was Galant's best first quarter in three years. Lancer closed at 2,514, up 32.7% from last March's volume. This was also Lancer's best first quarter in three years. Replying to: mikevegas06 (Apr 03, 2008 3:28 am) Still can't get her behind the wheel.  She likes to be driven around in it though. On Easter we went to the relatives and she was like a carnival barker telling everyone to go out and look at it, so I guess she's proud of it. But drive it herself, nope. I'm thinking that because it is such a fast car she is afraid of it (I never owned a car that made other cars shrink in the rear view mirror like this one). Maybe this weekend I'll take her out to an empty parking lot and let her get used to it. On a positive note both my sons have driven it and have left with ear to ear grins.

While reading an article on another subject I saw a reference to a 3.2L engine being available in the Outlander. This was to replace the current 3.0L Trouble is, I can't find any additional info on this and now I can't even remember where I first read it. Do any of you folks know anything about this new engine? The only thing I come up with on-line is a 3.2L diesel used in the Asian market.
