you misunderstood my post, man. Wildcat Mitsu doesn't have the blue one in and is $1,700 short on amount they are willing to give me in trade on the Sportage. Like dtown says, though, I may be being a tad unrealistic, or KBB is, as to how much my Sportage 4x4 from 2001 is really worth. In other words, I am going to get 4.9% financing for 60 months, which is awesome. And that is from another Phoenix dealer but they are willing at Avondale to match. I feel good about this place from what I have gathered and they advertise the "we'll beat anyone's offer" deal. Warranty work(if needed)will be 209 miles away, though. Yikes. Oh well, I'll pick one of my days off and head NW 209 miles and go get 'er done, men! The $500 new college grad rebate is being offered at all Mitsu dealers, so I'll get that as well at Avondale. Avondale Mitsubishi(west of Phoenix, 209 miles from us here in Willcox)has a 2008 Mitsubishi Lancer GTS in 5-speed form and it has the Sun and Sound Package. The amount I want for my Sportage 4x4 sounded good to them and so I'm heading off to test-drive right now. I'll let y'all know what happens tonight when I get back to Willcox. |

go test drive the 2008 Mitsubishi Lancer GTS. I called Safeco Insurance and the monthly payments are pert-near equal to the '01 Sportage 4x4. I am ordering gap insurance on the Lancer GTS and they are only $9.60 for 6 months. Wow...I told the Safeco lady that I was expecting something more in the ballpark range of $10.00/month for that. She said gap insurance is way more expensive through your dealer. Why does that not surprise me? Anyhow, we're leaving in about 10 minutes for Avondale, a suburb of Phoenix. It should take me roughly 3 hours to get there. I'll be reporting back tonight the latest. |

why would you Have To drive 209 miles for Service/Warranty work? We got our 01 Tiburon in Columbus, Ohio... over 100 miles one way. I never returned for any service. I went to Dayton area, which is around 1/2 the distance. The Dayton dealership serviced the car , and the Tiburon had a warranty issue( wheel bearing issue They were not willing to deal back in 2001, so we went to Columbus! I told them that( the salesman asked me why did we not buy form him, and I said: 1) they paid off my 200sx, and then some, which you guys wouldn't do, and 2) they sold this car for less money than you did, 3) financing was less than youu offered.... that was the last time I was bothered by him. I still go there now , for our 04 Sonata). TC/NO |

22 city, 29 hwy. CVT(2008 regs), 21-29 manual. http://auto-review.org/?p=21 Also, says not on sale until April. Guess some places have some, otherwise iluv would not be 209 miles from home looking. Not being nasty, but probably stick with our tC(160HP, 32-34MPG with automatic,, 0-60 in 8.2 seconds). A little over 17K loaded like we like 'em! take care/not offense PS: I am still curious as to how iluv's test drive goes, etc.. |
