is it possible for a 97 ford ranger motor can work for a 90? seem's like a large jump... not sure if it will work or not, let me know thanks

Replying to: mrjones944 (Dec 17, 2006 9:41 am) sorry, its what you they call a " basic " no XL or any of that. 2.3L 4 cylinder automatic. a tin can with wheels.the insurance company totaled it so can't use the body any longer. the cab was caved in but the rest of the truck is brand new. only 5700 miles on it driven by a 70 old. highway miles at that too. bet he never got over 60 mph in it. he's my pop.
