Just stay away from most junk yards, unless you personally know someone who works there. Utah truck and auto burned me on a lt1 motor, paid over 1100. dollars for this thing, was supposed to have compression of 150psi overall, this thing had burnt valves, distorted cyls....would have been lucky to avg. 50psi per cyl. wet. anyway, this is just an example of how you can get burnt.
