Salesman told me the car was in Chicago at a holding yard and I would have it in 2 to 3 weeks, I gave them the $2000 deposit, now they can't seem to find 'my' car.... now they only have white available. Tom H does not return voice mail or email, lies and says he never receives them.   They know they are the only GX dealer in Wisconsin so I can't go anywhere else... besides they have $2000 of my money so what am I suppose to do? Write a letter to the manager, making sure to comment that you are going to forward your concerns to American Honda ... I've heard that dealerships do not like it when people complain to AH ... gives them a black eye. Be sure to be succinct, accurate, and professional.   good luck, epi

4 weeks ago I got my new '07 Civic GX from the Honda dealer in Cerritos for $23,550 took about 15min to get down to this price. I guess once the '08 are on the lot they stay with the sticker price again for a while.

I just purchased a Civic GX from Joe Marina Honda in Tulsa OK. It was close to sticker about $24,700. It was a simple experience no different than any other car purchase I have ever made. I drove in, made a trade deal and drove out. The car was in stock so there was no waiting. I would recommend them to anyone wanting any Honda - including the GX.   It seem a little high for a Civic, but it was not much more than the Hybrid I bought a couple of years ago, but with CNG at only 90.9 cents per gge,(and public fueling stations all around) it will run for less than half the cost of the Hybrid and Oklahoma has a separate $3,400 tax credit to go along with the Federal credit on this CNG vehicle.   I figured I could drive it 120,000 miles for less than 20 cents per mile even if I have no residual value at all. If it should happen to last for 200,000 .... well, it was more than I could say no to, I can't figure out why they weren't sold out through the end of next year!

I have a 2004 GX and a Phill unit. I am in the LA area. I love the car, but I'm moving home to Atlantic Canada with no natural gas. The car has 90,000 miles on it, almost all commuting (100 miles per day round trip).   I don't really know how much to ask for it, or where to sell. I can sell it any time in the next two months. Should I use Auto Trader, or eBay, or somewhere else? How hard are they to sell? I do not see many for sale, which is why I'm not sure what it should go for. Any help would be appreciated. CNG is state subsidized in utah and is 73 cents /gge at public stations. price the car about the same as a gasoline civic lx. they are in demand in utah and colorado because of the low fuel cost. Make the buyer pick up and pay in local funds. Or maybe murphy at CNGMOTORS.COM will consign it. He sells a lot of used gx. Give him a call.   Put the Phill on e-Bay.   You can also post both on the CNGCHAT.COM forum in the marketplace section.   Good luck with the move.
