FOlks, How can I really check to be sure that my new 2007 A4 Avant is indeed an AWD Quattro? I think I leased this car from a shady place and there is no real way for me to distinguish that I know of visually. Is there a test or something I can do to see if I have the Quattro AWD system?

| As bigpuppy said "All Avants are Quattros". Also, it states so on the glove compartment, the grille and the rear underneath your engine size, likely 3.2 or 2.0T. Is this a serious question or another dig at Audi? | |

I guess you could lease a NEW A4 from a lease broker (we have one big one here in Cincinnati) and I guess you could've gotten a better lease rate than AF, but I don't know why this, in and of itself, would make the seller "shady." Perhaps, and I am not taking the time to fully vet this on the World Site, there are FWD Audi Station Wagons (aka avants) sold outside of North America. Our region gets AWD avants, period. Why there would be a gray market NEW A4 Avant is also beyond me. One more time, relax. All avants in NA are AWD (quattros.) |
