I am looking at buying a volvo SUV. I know this is the volvo section of the forum thats why I wanted to post. Again forgive me if my answers are already on the forum This are my minimum specs. Now I am looking at the Volvo or the Honda Pilot. Are there any other SUVs comparable to the XC90 ? this is what I am looking for in the XC90 1. Has to be XC90 2.5T model, possibly the prem & climate package. 2. Has to have 3rd row seating (ie 7 passenger) 3. This will be a USED vehicle no neet for it to be new. 4. Not more than 3yrs old Is there anything else that I should be looking at or considering when purchasing this vehicle. I live in Canada but I'd be buying this car in the US because it will be cheaper. I know I have to go thru all the Canadian safety /specs. That's not an issue for me. Obviously nobody wants to buy a lemon. Any suggestions /help is very much appreciated. Thanks

In the market for a CPO xc90, either 07 or 08. For identically equipped xc's I'm seeing a typical increase of $4500 on the 08's. Mileage on both are average for their years. What am I missing? The way I see it, essentially you're paying an extra $4500 for an extra year of warranty coverage.

| Hi...we have a 2005 V8 that has had no problems and gets better gas mileage than my sister's 2004 T6...both fully loaded with 3 row seating. I think the V8 is really worth it especially since it has a much better trans than the earlier T6. Just my humble opinion! | |
