This is a big jump for Volvo. They've been on the conservative side for quite some time. I'm shocked. This does not look like something designed in Scandanavia.

Fantastic! Volvo is finally showing aggressive and truly innovative design. I will seriously consider the new XC60 when it is available if it stays true to the concept. We had a '98 C70 black coupe but age caught up with it. Too many repairs.

It doesn't have any outlandish design features, so I hope the production car will be exactly as we see here. I've emailed Volvo to get on the waiting list! This will be my ten year anniversary gift to my wife.

Anybody have any idea on the price range this will fall into, and about what size this actually is ( compare with another car size wise). The show car looks awesome, wish it was coming out a little sooner, and i hope they don't mess up the exterior sheetmetal.It looks awesome!!

Let's all hope that what we are seeing will be the real thing.It looks aggressive but still has that Volvo character.

How many miles did your '98 C70 have when you got rid of it? The XC 60 looks appealing, but I'm leery of Volvo reliability and cost to repair. High maintenance is a deal breaker for me. Hopefully, Volvo has been moving to close the gap with Acura and Lexus in this regard, but I haven't heard or read evidence of this, either way, yet. Does anyone have any input on this?
