Replying to: drhodenizer (Apr 06, 2008 7:18 pm) i doubt GM with cover a NON GM product. I would think you would have to go and fight with suzuki about this since it is made by them and has their name badge on the car.. If you go into a GM shop asking about a warranty/fix for a metric car you might get some weird looks......

Replying to: drhodenizer (Apr 06, 2008 7:18 pm) I am in NL, had crossmember separate/crack completely on 2001 Vitara. I had purchased it used, the garage where it was under warranty called the Suzuki Dealership in town looking for the part and were informed that it was covered under the recall. No cost to me. It may take a few days to have it fixed, my understanding is that all the work is free.
