Maybe it went into the archive? I kind of remember there being another discussion on it too but perhaps we just took some other thread on a tangent.

EDIT:

Found it in the future vehicles forum.

Maybe this should be moved to the C30 group now.

I wasn't following the C30, so I don't know if a discussion about it had cropped up before it was on Edmunds watch list or not.

Maybe there was one in the Future Vehicles board?

Aha... that's the place

Its official: Volvo C30-What do you think?

so we can add that to the C30 group .... right? or does this nifty software not allow such a thing. i guess, really, that should be moved since it isn't a future vehicle anymore.

We'll let the future vehicles host know, and I just bet it will wind up over here.

That's the way it usually happens!

Like most people, I've only seen pix of a silver or white C30. Boring, accountant mobiles.

Check out this purple, hot-rodded Volvo ">C30!

There has not been much discussion on this model--which I'm taking as a good thing. We test-drove about 15 cars--including the new accord, several minis, and Acura TSX-- before deciding on a C30 as a replacement car. It was the first car that both of us liked when we drove it and the dealer experience was better than even the luxury brands we visited. We are also doing the european delivery--which saves you $3k off the msrp. The car will be bright red with off-black cloth interior.

For those of you who have a C30 already, how is your ownership experience? I've been looking for another C30 on the road but have not seen any while on recent trips to Ohio, PA, NY, or CT.

It's great to finally see another post about the C30. I ordered mine the end of February. I had taken many Mini Cooper test drives over the past year and was convinced I was going to get one, but when my wife and I test drove the C30, we were hooked.

I've been following the progress of this model and monthly sales are in the 550 area nationally, somewhat short of Volvo's goal. I kinda like the exclusivity, but think this car deserves a wider audience - it may just take time.

I've had my C30 since last July and I've loved it since day 1. My initial thought was I would get one and drive it for a few years to you know, "break it in" and then give it to my son as his first car. Well, that's out. Its ALL mine

I'm in Europe, so I get to open her up once a while. The T5 really knows how to handle the Autostrada
