Hi, I'm looking at buying a 2005 BMW X5 4.4, I need to use this vehicle for occasional towing in the summer. Towing is limited to 15 miles to the ramp and back, generally flat roads. My boat is approx. 5,000lbs, the trailer is tandem axle with power disc brakes. Any experience with towing weight close to maximum capacity would be very useful, thanks.

This vehicle is suppossed to be pre-wired for trailer lighting. Has anyone found the pigtail that goes from the auto to the trailer connection?? Thanks.
