Have any of you noticed that when you use the key fob to unlock the Azera, that if you don't get to the car in about 25-30 seconds, it automatically relocks the doors? Replying to: allmet33 (Sep 07, 2007 12:33 pm) It's a good thing that the trunk lid doesn't rise when the unlock button on the remote is pressed (as I've noted with some Cadillacs) 'cause it's too easy to accidently press a remote button while the fob is in your pocket (and I've accidently pressed every one of them, several times over).   There you are, out Christmas shopping, lots of gifts in your trunk, still shopping in a store for that last special gift, you accidently press the trunk open button, the lid lifts and a bum walking by your Caddy says "MERRRRRRY CHRISTMAS TO ME!!!"... She told him to just press the fob and look for the open trunk. He kept pushing the fob, but never could find the car.   Two of my employees were taking a smoke break and kept closing it because they could not see anyone else in the area. Thought it was a defect.   Personally, I prefer that it does not open and I really like that you can open it without a key if the car is unlocked. And the trunk isn't unlocked until you've unlocked your car doors, and you're not gonna unlock your car doors (or trunk) if your car is surrounded by a bunch of unsavory characters, so the unlocking trunk is a feature I've come to accept!...
