And in short order, I did almost run over another car at a light when I stepped on the brake and accellerated! I stood on the brake with both feet and turned off the engine, then saw that my movable over-mat was up under the accellerator pedal, where it likely had engaged the metal strut that the pedal mounts to, pushing down on the strut... Replying to: gamleged (Oct 02, 2009 4:18 pm) Putting mat over another is never a good idea. Everytime I get in my Azzy, I look in the footwell to make sure that the mat is in place. I have convinced my wife to do that as well. For those of you who have the adjustable pedals, just to be safe, raise them a little so that there's more clearance.
