I've got 35% tint on my windows and the only time the A/C works hard is when temps reach up in the mid-90's+. |

"SHE" does have the black exterior w/brown (not beige) interior - when home the car is garaged; In the summer here in S Florida it is often in the 90's with a high heat index; throughout the day b/c I am a sales rep, the car may be in the sun... windows cracked, and the like are a risk this time of year - very sub-tropical weather..rain is unpredictable. will the extra tinting make a difference? Thanx for the feedback - and to the Houston poster who has not had any probs w/AC

Tinting blocks a good portion of the sun's rays and makes it much easier on your A/C, not to mention...your leather will be better protected as well. They've got various shades of tint (check local laws for what's legal), I know with SUV's 20% is what's on the rear windows. Some even have a reflective coating on them to give them a slightly mirrored appearance. |
