Just got my 07 Mustang V6 out of the shop. I took delivery on 10/27/06 last Saturday when I got in the car, there was a loud squeal when I turned the wheel. Diagnosis is a leaky steering rack which was replaced. Anyone else have a similar problem? Is this the first sign of an expensive ownership experience? Dang Ford! Replying to: mschmal (Dec 06, 2006 12:58 pm) I have the same problem. I have an 06 V6 Mustang. I hear a squeal sound when I turn my wheel, but it doesn't happen all the time. So the 2 times I brought it to the dealership, they claim they don't hear it. They wouldn't even check it. Any ideas what it might be that causes the sqealing to only happen at times?
