Replying to: standog (Dec 04, 2006 10:25 am) Got my 2 door in late July(one of the first 2007's). So far after 4k miles it has been 100% trouble free. Not a single problem of any kind so far.

Replying to: standog (Dec 04, 2006 10:25 am) Have almost 6000 miles on her and no problems what so ever. The only thing that has gone remotely wrong was when i went for my 5000k oil change, they had to adjust one of my windsheild wipers that was wiping a little to far, but there was no charge for it and they said that it was no big deal. Aside from that, (granted i didn't even notice the wiper thing at all until they told me about it and even then i never saw it because it was already fixed), nothing has been troublesome. Interior materials are the highest quality, no rattles or shakes, great sound system, peppy acceleration, great handling and bette gas mileage than advertised. A great little car.

well,it's been a little over a month and 1,500 miles with my new rabbit and so far so good.no problems to speak of and it's been a very fun and solid car up to this point.however, it's still early in the game and only time will tell if the rabbit can hold up to the test of time.

Replying to: standog (Dec 04, 2006 10:25 am) Have owned my 2 door 5 spd since the middle of June. little over 3k on the clock, and not a single problem. only little nitpick, which others have expressed as well, is a small intermittent rattle from one of the dash pieces. hopefully they will take a look at that at my first 5k service. averaging 28+ mpg, mixed hwy/fwy...and not driving slow! Replying to: bpeachee1 (Dec 08, 2006 12:14 pm) being as its winter, do you have the heat setting to split between the dash and your feet? I have found that a rattle emits when you do this, but if you switch it to just hit your feet, it compleltely goes away. Replying to: eldaino (Dec 08, 2006 2:46 pm) no...it happens no matter where the air goes. i know exactly where it comes from, because if I put my finger on it and push down lightly, it goes away. it comes from the edge of that air diverter on top of the dash. i have owned my rabbit for close to 2 months now and have 1,500 miles on it so far.i have not experienced any rattles of any kind.
